About the Personal Trainers & Fitness Studio
During her many years in the fast-paced world of politics
and government, from Capitol Hill to Frederick's City Hall,
Eva Rosvold kept her mind and her body in top form by adhering
to a regular running regimen and by practicing Yoga. She
learned first-hand that focusing on fitness, no matter how
busy or harried she got, was a life saver and allowed her
to keep up with her active lifestyle. Eva traded in the
world of power politics and founded Fundamental Fitness
in 2004 to empower others with the tools and knowledge that
worked so well for her.
Eva Rosvold
Eva
Rosvold received her personal trainer certification through
the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Yoga training
with YogaFit. Eva is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga
Alliance, having completed the necessary 200 hours of teacher
training. She is an experienced long distance runner, hiker,
and backpacker, trail runner and has completed several marathons
and ultra-marathons, including a 100-mile race. In the 2004
North American Ultra List published by UltraRunning Magazine
she was ranked in both the 50K and 100 mile distances. The
2005 North American Ultra List ranked Eva in the 50k and
50 mile distances.
Eva is certified in Basic First Aid, CPR and recently
completed her Wilderness First Aid training with SOLO.
Fundamental Fitness understands that there are a million
different things competing for your time, and is committed
to designing programs that not only make you fit, but fit
nicely with the other demands you face.
Cindy Donoghue
In 2003, Ms Donoghue received two certifications in personal
training. After six-months and 500 hours, she graduated
at the top of her class with a certificate from the National
Personal Training Institute in Fairfax, VA. In May of 2003,
she sat for, and passed the highly-acclaimed Certified Personal
Trainer (CPT) test for the National Strength and Conditioning
Association (NSCA). She recently received a Level 2 YogaFit
certificate and often incorporates a bit of yoga into her
client's exercise programs. She has been involved in the
fitness industry since the early 1980's. Before becoming
a personal trainer, Ms. Donoghue worked in the corporate
world as marketing and publications professional.
Cindy believes that fitness is not all about how you
look, but it is about health and if you're an athlete, performance.
Cindy's philosophy on training is simple: You get out of
it what you put into it. Obtaining your goals will take
time, but with a good training program and some determination
(not to mention a personal trainer to keep you motivated
and on target!) you'll achieve your desired results.
She is dedicated to providing a prescriptive, personalized
and progressive program to assist you in reaching your health
& fitness goals. Her programs are developed with consideration
of your unique fitness needs, fitness level, physical limitations
and capabilities.

Roy Englebach, CPT
I
was born in Seoul, South Korea, but moved to the United
States before the age of one. Raised in Central Pennsylvania,
I quickly became an avid sports fan, particularly baseball.
Along with baseball, my other passion growing up was with
the martial arts. The martial arts is something that will
always be a part of me, as well as baseball. I played competitive
baseball well into my adult years. And yes, hitting a baseball
is as hard as it looks.
My passion for athletics, and curiosity of the human
body led me to attend the National Personal Training Institute
in Falls Church, Virginia. Here, I obtained a better understanding
of the physics of the human body and how to train it. The
human body is the most complex and exquisite machine on
the planet. I am never surprised by what it can be pushed
to do.
My professional career as a personal trainer has consisted
mostly of in home training. I don't have anything against
gyms, but I have come to feel that in home training can
be more intense and effective. The client and trainer relationship
will flourish in this atmosphere, as no one is inhibited
by the crowd in a gym. I welcome all shapes and sizes, as
well as ages.

Steve Roy
Steve has been involved with and had a passion for
athletics since childhood and has been working in the
fitness industry since 1997. He first began personal
training for Fitness First Health Clubs and decided that
helping individuals achieve their personal goals with
regards to their health and well being was what he
wanted to spend his life pursuing. After spending
several years in Colorado running a youth fitness
program, teaching core strengthening classes, and
training folks with sports injuries, Steve moved back to
Maryland.
In Maryland, Steve received his personal trainer
certification through the National Academy of Sports
Medicine and began an in-home training business. Steve
currently works with folks varying in ages from 25 to 60
and who have goals ranging from shoulder and knee
rehabilitation, fat loss, gaining lean muscle mass, as
well as folks looking to make a complete change in their
lifestyle. My greatest satisfaction is helping people
reach their goals and seeing the life changing results
that come from their hard work and discipline.
